Public Relations Specialist or Software Engineer. Which field is it harder to be successful in. Please factor in the current economic crisis going on. I know there is like a 36% raise in job openings for jobs in computers. But is it as likely to get a job as a PR. All and all which career has the highest salary?

I don’t know this for a fact but I would think that Software Engineer would be the better route in terms of money and job security. In PR it seems like a greater range of people would have skills they could apply to a PR job. In PR it seems there would be more competition for jobs since not only people with PR degrees can get a job but also those with communication, business, etc. could get a PR job. I really like using O*NET for career info: it might help you.
