public relations job?


i’m majoring in public relations, minoring in advertising. what are some good jobs in the pr field? and what is the average annual salary?!!

    I’m also a major in public relations and about to go into the job field. I would recommend a corporate environment. I am on a work term with one and have learnt so much about the profession this way. Entry level for a pr job - depending on what industry you decide to work with - is usually around 45,000 to 48, 000 a year. Of course non profit will be lower at probably around 35, 000 dollars depending on the organization.

    If you are in Alberta, oil and gas is the major market to be in, but places like Ontario you will want to focus on government.
