I want to be a publicist, hopefully a music publicist. Unfortunately no universities around me offer Public Relations, Communications or Media Studies. The closest degree was a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing. Will it be possible to pursue a career in public relations with this degree?

Get away, as far as you can from the free and easy Business degree. Find something you can use. Business today needs to more exact. You need to know exactly what you want to do and what you want to do with it. It isn’t the old days anymore!!!
