not worth the try, unless u are in a desperate situation.
they dont pay u not even the 6.00 yet.
I’ll have to disagree with coquishi, for mc donald’s its not a federal company, and does not have to do with government wages.
mc donalds is an American company that can be a franchised chain all around the world, and whoever its the owner can have a variety of difference in menus and pay wages as well.
excuse me v!t!n, but I live in the island for years, thank u very much. and my water bill its not 15 bucks, my water bill its 2000 bucks because the nice engineers wont fix a water problem I have at home for months(so yeah, I pay nothing of water, because its “under investigation”). I love PR, but there is a difference between reality and world disney land, and YES, we pay taxes, read the news and go out more often dude.
PR is part of the US, so we have the same minimum wage as the Fed regulates. I believe since they are so big, McDonalds follows the Fair Labor Standards Act, so McDonalds has to pay $6.55/hr as per the law. If as someone said they don’t have to follow FLSA, they have to pay $4.58/hr.
The average salary is probably about $10/hr. I think about 70% of PR workers make less than $30,000/yr. Of course, we get a lot of holidays and a Christmas bonus.
Ok Dont Worry Or Listen To People That Never Lived In The Island Im The One U Should Take Advice From Even Though Salary Isnt The Best In My Puerto Rico You Dont Pay Taxes, Water Its Just Like 15$, And Light Its Like 45$ So Yea Not A Good Check But Its Less For You To Pay… Good Luck
