The book can be read in a day but what will astonish you is Bernays matter of fact approach in his belief of manufacturing consent of public opinion. He was also the nephew of Sigmund Freud. He started with Walter Lippmann CPI - Committee for Public Information under Woodrow Wilson’s administration in helping the white house shift public opinion into getting America to go into WW1.
