What’s the difference between public relations moves and propaganda?

I’m writing a paper about the Pentagon’s use of media analysts to promote positive press on the war in Iraq and I’m stuck on this question. please help
Um, I’m finding info fine thank you.

I didn’t ask for a commentary on the subject matter, I’m asking opinions on the differences between propaganda and public relations.

Public relations is thought of as posiitve, telling people about good stuff; propaganda, as negative, and maybe downright lying.
Although, you may notice, public relations is thought of “my side telling the story as it is” and propaganda is “the other’s side’s trying to shade the meaning of everything.”
