What is the average salary of a successful PR Manager?


I live in the NY-NJ area and the pay for a PR Coordinator isn’t the best. I am wondering if this career has much opportunity for growth?

    as of 8/25/08 the average PR salary in NYC is $66,000.

    Of course, average only means half are earning less, half are earning more. Marketing Directors average 10K more. So it would seem you want to get out of PR & into Marketing Director.
