We are holding sales seminars. I will write the PR and publish it in the surrounding newspapers. Do we split the participant fees 50/50 if they come to us via the paper? Is that fair? Do I take the first one as a payment for the time and trouble of writing the PR and getting it out there? Do we take turns writing the PR? Is there any model for this? Thank you.
How do my business partner and I split the participant fee from leads that come in off PR that I have written?

You gotta look at the overall picture and ask yourself what value your partner brings to the business. Is it greater or equal to the net value you can do alone, with another partner or employee who will do it for less? If you are paying all the expenses, then you deserve a higher return on the profits like say, 60/40, unless of course, your partner’s skill brings in a lot more profit than you or equally to you,and / or has some skill that nobody possibly could have, in which case it should be 50/50. Writing and publishing ads is not something you can do one week and your partner the next week. It requires the person with the most talent to write it in order to get the best responses, and publised for the best price. If you are the most skilled, you can work on it together by having your partner write the ad and you editing it and authorizing it to be publsihed or visa versa.
