Can you help me with some health related questions?

1. Steve has been trying to build his strength through bench presses. Every Saturday he goes to the club and does 3 sets of 25 repetitions. When possible, he increases the load he presses. Steve has noticed two problems: His upper body strength is not increasing as quickly as he thinks it should, and he doesn’t seem to be building lower body strength at all. How would you change Steve’s workout?

2. Why is it important to balance strength and flexibility exercises?

3. Can someone explain how the principles of overload, progression, and specificity apply to flexibility. Please provide an example of each using a specific flexibility exercise.

4. What are some important guidelines to follow when doing muscular endurance exercises?

5. The three basic principles - overload, progression, specificity -can be applied to strength exercises. Explain.

6. The old saying “No pain, no gain” is wrong. Explain why in relation to flexibility.

Thank you!
