A PR specialist has to be able to transfer their message(s) from the company to the public. Interference can occur when the specialist takes personal offense from a statement taken out of context.
Feedback is critical, because it lets you know how the message is received. What we mean to say, may not be heard in the way we would have intended.
Same with written communication. The public expects good grammar and correct punctuation. The wrong tense of a verb or misspelled word can send a good PR campaign down the toilet.
