    Public opinion of what? A company, indirectly it’s PR.

    Personally, PR means very little to me as I think most of the time, PR reps spew B.S.

    I think the general Joe Sixpack public bases everything on whatever they see in the T.V. medium…

    Smart people read the newspapers and magazines…

    PR is extremely important.

    People here something that coincides with their political view, they’ll believe it. Both sides of the aisle.

    If you worry about the Little Guy getting beat up by the powerful fat guy, and somebody explains the Palestinian problem in that vein, you’ll be persuaded.

    If the stupid news media (both TV and newspaper) slants things to make you think “We’re on the side of the little guy” then you’ll think they’re on your side, and you’ll be a loyal viewer / reader.
