with a reputation at stake, and hoping to improve a country’s morale, u.s. media houses are filtering the facts out of iraq, what/who are we, the rest of the world to believe anymore?

i know we arent getting the whole truth becuase i have friends in Iraq right now and they are telling em stuff the news isint covering. it is so much they dont want us to know and so much we cant know. what goes on there and what we see in the news are two different things…
Of course they tell just what they are ¨allowed¨ to tell us, trust me there are many, many terrible things happening out there that we will never know.
The media, all the media, has an agenda. to make money and help their political interests. The truth is only used when it can support their agenda or not make a difference.
Of course they don’t tell us the truth. Our fragile little brains can’t handle a little gore (not Al either) and we can’t understand the concepts of our military doing anything wrong, ever. Have you seen the movie Good Morning Vietnam? It’s the same today as it was then. If we see the truth, we will fight the war harder. If the mothers and fathers of the kids that are over there see what’s really going on they will fight harder to bring them home.
Are you nuts?! In the mainstream media? Folks, we’ve never been told the truth about ANYTHING, nevermind the illegal immoral war in Iraq. If CNN or FOX started telling the truth they’d be out of business in a New York minute: they’d lose all their advertisers and sponsors, who sponsor the government more than anybody else. You can not trust the mainstream media one iota. Anybody who thinks they can is either in denial or hoplessly naive. I woke up to the spin and the lies a long time ago.

of course not. Bush is paying the media bilions of dollars to lie. He’s also really a democrat, and I’m Richard Nixon.
