I start school this fall as a Communications & Media Arts major. I’ve always wanted to get into PR, but I’m afraid that there may be more math integrated within the career than I anticipated. I’m fine with basic math; fractions, percentages, etc. The rest, though, is a total headache.
Do you need to be good with math to work in Public Relations?

Not really. Public Relations has more to do with writing and language skills than it will with math. Every job uses some basic math, but once you get into the business world no one looks down on you for using a calculator or a computer program for math.
