How about Barry’s new idea that McCain should stop saying bad things about him? Is his next game plan to ask McCain not to talk about issues or suggest any type of debate? This sounds really weak to me.

Hello, everyone! I’m going to be graduating from college this Spring, and I’m going to have a BA in Sociology. I was just wondering if it would be possible to get into the Public Relations/advertising field with my Sociology degree. I took 2 Public Relations classes (Intro to PR, and Writing for PR.) Is this possible? Thanks for the help!

I need a job, and my searches have come up fruitless. I am in need of a headhunter real bad to help me. I am interested in marketing, international business, business Ad, advertising, PR. I would live on Long Island and would like a job in NYC

I work as a Marketing Executive for an in-house Sales Marketing department. Although a small company in terms of staff, it delivers services nationally to some major clients. My role involves marketing and graphic/web design. These are my main duties:

• Management of all Marketing PR activities
• Design of company website, marketing literature, email marketing, display advertising and any other promotional materials, including client presentations
• Lead management - involves advanced Excel functions
• Database management
• SEO/PPC
• Internal communication
• Management of business partner relationships (2 major mobile network providers)
• An element of performance management

Although I don’t hold a marketing qualification, I have now been in the job for 2 years and get positive feedback from my employer. I earn £14.5k basic + bonus. Despite promises otherwise, the bonus scheme is barely worthwhile - weighing in at £200 quarterly (before tax).

That’s terrible PR in my opinion. I subscribe to World of Warcraft for a month or two every now and again, but I would have never even tried it if they didn’t have a free trial available.

Looking for software offering similar features to programs like Marketing Central and Marketing Pilot, i.e. project managment software that’s specifically tailored to those in the marketing industry. Not outrageously expensive, must be suitable for small but growing marketing and PR consultant firm with clients primarily in the healthcare industry. Desired features would include digital access management, online proofing and approval capabilities and marketing results tracking. Web-based preferred, but would also like info on any non-web based programs. Please also provide specific details on your experience with the product you are discussing and/or recommending. Thanks!
