Just like when Kerry said in ‘04 that he would consult the UN on U.S. foreign policy matters, I think Rudy just took himself out of this race. Your thoughts?

As far as I’m concerned, he was never in the race to begin with. He is against everything I believe in.
I am Pro Life, Against Amnesty for Illegals, Pro 2nd Amendment Rights to bear arms to protect ourselves from corruption, Against NAFTA, CAFTA the NAU.
Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter are the only ones who share my beliefs. I don’t honestly know what should be done about Iraq since we went there under false pretense. I do believe remaining there is not helping them. I think we need to worry about our own country and the terrorists that are coming in through the open borders.
He never had my vote because I knew that he was pro-illegal alien as mayor of NYC, and he wants to give amnesty to most of the illegals in our country as Senator Juan McCain does. Here are some of Rudy’s comments about illegal immigration.
Giuliani encourages illegal immigration:
Some of the hardest-working and most productive people in this city are undocumented aliens, Mr. Giuliani said.
If you come here and you work hard and you happen to be in an undocumented status, you’re one of the people who we want in this city.
You’re somebody that we want to protect, and we want you to get out from under what is often a life of being like a fugitive, which is really unfair.

Giuliani believes the federal government can’t tackle illegal immigration:
But in a country as large as ours, with our protection of individual liberty, and with a huge border that spans sea, deserts and mountains, and given the strong desire that people have to come to this country, the federal government may never be able to stop illegal immigration completely.
At best, all we can expect is that the federal government will do a better job of patrolling our borders. Giuliani address at Harvard University, October 10, 1996.
Recent Giuliani statement on the House and Senate approaches to immigration:
One extreme is what I would call the punitive approach, which is reflected in the House legislation that was passed, which is to make it a crime to be an illegal or undocumented immigrant; it is illegal now but it’s not a crime and I believe, if I recall correctly, that it would make it a five-year felony and there are 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States. It would become a law that was honored in the breach and it could not possibly be enforced. …I think that the compromise the Senate was looking at something along those lines makes sense. Give people a way to earn citizenship….. Giuliani address at the Manhattan Institute, April 25, 2006

He’s never had my vote!!!

I’d never vote for someone who doesn’t think that ILLEGAL immigration is a crime.
Giuliani just lost every conservative voter.

There’s no one worth voting for on the Republican side. Give up.

I think he just handed the lead over to Fred Thompson.

He never had mine, Fred did..However, after the last debate, I’m giving strong consideration to Mike Huckabee.

I think you’re a pig in a poke. If you lost it that easily then you never had it to begin with.

Any one who believes ILLEGAL immigration is not a crime is a traitor to America pure and simple.
But he never had my vote anyway

I used to think I could hold my nose and vote for him. NOT ANY MORE! Was he on drugs when he said that? Illegal = crime! He knows this!
I wonder if he will back-peddle when he realizes that he put is foot in his big fat mouth! To me he’s on the same level as McCain!
