This is our midterm case:
Give me an idea on how to campaign/PR mashedcorn as a raw ingredient in alternative for potato’s for ex: corn chips instead of potato chips that is it should be gourmet food… the corn should be promoted to gourmet chefs must also create an advertising/promotion/sales collateral and must show people the advantages and privie an appetizing merchandising material to deliver what the product is.

college student here trying to decide on a major public relation sounds interesting to me about the party scene, promoting clubs ect. can someone help me out that has experience in some what in public relation or has graduated from school in a degree in public relation tell me if you like your job what does it consist of, and so on. thanks everyone

What do you think is important for a HS graduate to know about the advertising/pr field before they get into it besides the fact that its a tough area to break into. What more than passion/the ability to face challenges/work hard do they need to be successful in a feild like this? Where can one get the right kind of guidance? Will college be helpful as it makes it out to be? How far can that college knowledge take them? If you are in this feild, what is somethign you wish someone had told u?

Are there any job search engines for someone who has majored in Communication Arts, in the track of Journalism PR?

I have used craigslist, monster, local newspapers, non-profit websites, but desire to find more…

Gardenerforgod: I have been watching things on TV and I would agree that this is a very serious situation. Somehow I believe that the election of a new President is a very serious situation as well. John McCain has missed 412 votes out of 643 in the senate. So now he suddenly cares?
As far as he is concerned at this point their is not much he can do. As President he could do much more. Regardless of anything this will still be an issue on November 4th and when the new President is sworn into office in January.
