Madeleine Mccann missing, Kate Gerry get, Ltd co, trademark, website,PR team, £500ph lawyers. Why?

this in addition to the statement below made by someone on a petition site, along with Kate saying we are not focusing on Madeleine and Gerry saying Long Term sets alarm bells ringing.

Judging from how quickly a limited company, internet site a carefully co-ordinated PR marketing strategy was formulated by Team McCann,it seems fairly obvious that no one in their camp expected her to reappear in the short term.Poor little Madeleine has in the hands of her parents now become little more than a corporate brand name.
What can we all do to stop this?
oh nearly forgot - This picture sure looks like they are missing thier daughter - NOT

Maddy, I too saw Dolly K’s question - if it was about how we are all doing what the Mccanns want - Divide and Conquer.
I kind of agree but feel loathed to just sit back and do nothing, I feel my hands are tied and this case has taken such a huge part of my life. It is not just because of a missing child but far more. The implications on our society are huge - with class distinctions high, a possible hoax of the century or cover up. Greed, neglect, abuse all rubbed in our faces by the daily blog and media headlines, and we are all supposed to sit and say oh well, what lovely parents I will cry the day that a lawyer uses this as a defense in a child abuse case - please note the mccanns etc etc, one rule for one I am saddened that this world is so harsh and that people are so nasty. I have been called evil, sick and much worse for voicing my views and yet I have raised 2 wonderful children and never once left them alone and I was a single parent. I want justice.

This whole case has set alarm bells ringing and bull**** monitors on full alert since day 1 for me, and even more so since the madia *** came down and the circus went into overdrive…

As to what we can do - well not much except watch and wait I think - the Foreign Office now seem to have distanced themselves from the whole affair, and slowly, very slowly, the tide of public opinion seems to be turning.

On forums, where not even 2 weeks ago, I was villified for daring to ask questions, old sparring partners (people who would swear the moon was made of green cheese if it meant that they could swallow this story whole) are now tentatively saying ‘things are not right here’. Yesterday for the first time I read two newspaper articles questioning the abduction story in a responsible manner.

It has been common practice for some time in the UK for the police to encourage suspects in high profile, serious crimes to ‘play’ the media - to give press conferences and interviews whilst all the time watching and waiting… giving them ‘enough rope to hang themselves with’. Maybe, just maybe, that is what is happening here.

All we can do is to continue to ask questions and wait for the answers - whatever they are.

Hi, I just answered a very good question from dolly k. I am extremely upset there does not seem to be anything we can do to stop this. Absolutely nothing. I have just fallen out with my best friend of years because I will not support her fund raising efforts for the McCanns. This is the final straw. I have no idea what to do next, if I thought that by some kind of effort there could be something I could do to find Madeleine I would do it and I believe that both the pro McCanns and anti McCanns would. Chucking money at them is not the way, raising their profile and bank balance is not the way. Sorry I have no idea what to suggest. Having a very black Monday morning feeling at the moment.

Sorry if I depressed you as well earlier. I too am a one parent family, two children as well, now I am a one parent grandparent with a beautiful blond hair blue eyed grandson. Nearly 4 years old! I can see entirely where you are coming from. Give me a short while for the tablets to kick in and I will be back on form. Much love.

Hi I am back, read the question by BB2002 just posted. It looks like things may be starting to unravel. Hope so.

If this is consuming a large part of your life then you need to seriously examine your priorities. This is a story affecting people whom you don’t know and I really don’t think it has the world- or society-changing impact you seem to attribute to it.

I don’t know why the McCanns chose the path they did because I don’t know the McCanns and I also don’t know what they are going through - as a parent myself, I can guess how I might feel or what I might do but it’s pure speculation and of little value. You are no different.

I certainly don’t think that it means all the things you suggest. I really don’t think it takes a long time to set up a company or a website - you can buy ready-made companies off the shelf and a basic website will take just minutes. With the offers of assistance I am certain they received very quickly, there would have been no problem whatsoever. It is not necessary for them to have made up their minds that this was going to be long term for them to plan for that possibility.

Seriously, though. You are making far too much of this. Let it go.

First, I must preface my answer with the fact that I am not happy with the behavior of both Gerry and Kate; before and after Maddy’s abduction.

Now, my answer is no; we can’t stop this and I don’t think that we should. The McCann’s have gotten wise to the fact that they cannot keep the focus on Maddy alone; that they must now espouse the plight of all missing children. Hopefully, this horrible tragedy will keep future abductions from happening as well as aid in the return of more missing children.

That, I hope, we can all agree on.
