I was a private school teacher for 5 years teaching Math and Science to 5th graders. I decided that the classroom wasn’t for me anymore and have since done freelance consulting at places similar to Discovery and Nickelodean. Based on this background where could my career head next? Corp world, HR, PR? Any ideas?

We’d really need to know more about your particular aptitudes and interests. Have you considered doing some interest and aptitude inventories to help point you in a direction you might find interesting and satisfying? There are quite a few available on line and you can probably find some free ones to get you started.
