So, who’s really the naive one?

Obama called McCains foreign policy naive because he believes we need to finish what we started. Obama believes pulling troops out of Iraq and sending them to the mountainous Afghanistan where we have no strategic advantage is the best way to deal with Al Quaeda.
So, McCain’s strategy, we’ll be out of the mess in Iraq by 2013, Obama’s strategy, pull out of Iraq and Al Quaeda will disappear from there. We march to Afghanistan and they’ll surrender…
Right.
Who’s really being naive?

Hey, great one how many Iraq lives were saved the day we ousted Sadam Hussein? To me, that’s worth a couple military casualties. Especially since as a male, living in Ohio, aged 18-24 I’ve got a better chance of dying by a violent crime or drunk driver than I would of getting injured in Iraq. If you want to complain about American casualties, complain about Detroit or LA where cops are too scared to go.

The naive position would be the one that believes Americans belong in a country that doesn’t want them there. The naive position would be the one that assumes American self-righteousness will mollify any human injustice committed in its name. The naive position would be the one that implies that one could occupy a sovereign and hostile nation to one’s eventual benefit. The naive position would be the one that continues to make the same mistake and expecting a different result.

    Yes……2013

  3. Jo S Says:

I think there is no question that Vietnam vet McCain knows more about military matters than college boy Obama.

  4. rukidding Says:

Who else? After all, if they don’t surrender, Obama can go and talk to them and THEN they’ll see the error of their ways and surrender. lol

Obamamanians have such logical comebacks, don’t they?

the war has a low approval rating
second of all look how much the war has cost us
over 4000 us troops have died in the iraq war

Obama’s stuttering problem at today’s news conference made him look like a frightened school boy without his teleprompter reading his speech on race, socialized medicine and affirmative action. This is what we can expect from this obvious affirmative action candidate. Can we at least find someone who can speak coherently on the stump?
    Hey….Hillary, Don’t go too far!

  7. amazin'g Says:

    It certainly isn’t McCain.

  8. Chuck_Junior Says:

I watched the Obama speech where he decided to go after Bush and McCain.

It looked like a complete meltdown to me. A temper tantrum.
Someone should hand him some cheese and crackers to go with his whiiine. Boohoo…the big bad republicans are picking on me
    What a load..
Obama isn’t just naive…he’s an idiot.

  9. Havasoo Says:

So you also think we should pour billions more dollars and thousands more American lives into this mistake we are mired in?! The recent exposure of the corruption in the Iraqi government with our money is enough reason for us to leave now!

In answer to your final question. You and Bush/McCain are.

  10. lives7 Says:

Obama over reacted to a speech that WAS NOT about him!

GOD FORBID, that the world does revolve around him and his universe. What hysteria over nothing!

Obama is a girlie man, that misfired over a stupid misconception. How dumb can this girlie man be?

He can not even handle this non issue1

  11. BIG BOPPER Says:

    Just for the record.

Iraq, flat terrain, dessert, Afgan, mountain regions as far as
you can see. Troops in Iraq, mechanized divisions, How
many tanks can fit on top of a mountain,.. Barack is showing
his indepth knowledge of knowing not a damn thing about the
Military or its capabilities and Equipment. We have Specailized Units in AFGAN, 10th Mtn Division, SF units
and Nato Troop mountain trained Units. So why would we
need mobile units to mess up the operations flow of the
    people already there.

  15. Gabby B Says:

well one the republicans have been saying well win the war in Iraq for what 6 7 years. if we never leave then the iraqies will never handle themseleves. hello the miltary has been complaining about not being able to leave and doing all the iraqies work. so does it make sense to leave iaq. heck ya. we shouldnt have gone in the 1rst place. a=oh and the politicains should concetrate more on their own country rather than worry about the Iraqy government. as i said before iraqies need to handle themseves

Hate to say it.. but Obama..

  17. canam Says:

Obama is a wild man when it comes to the war. He lacks the knowledge to make a good decision. It is scarey to listen to him talk about cozying up to terrorists like Hamas, and haveing a little chat with iran. I think a high school boy could make a more realistic assessment and plan where the war is concerned than Obama. Im not a repub. but I will vote McCain in nov. At least he talks out of his mouth while obamas rhetoric seems to come out streamming out of his rectal area, like a bad case of diarrhea..
