Isn’t it funny that McCain wants us to use the ‘Iraq strategy’ to win in Afghanistan?

Does anyone feel like McCain has really shown his ignorance about war by even suggesting this?

    He wants to use the Petraeus strategy of using the civilians to help in the fight against the Taliban while adding more American troops and having a supreme leader for all groups present in the country now. That doesn’t sound so bad to me. Its been 18 months since the surge in Iraq and the situation has definitely improved. Actually, Obama has suggested sending more troops to Afghanistan as well. McCain just added more to what would take place after that.

    We don’t have enough money to buy of all the Taliban. The only reason why some of the violence when down in Iraq is cause we are handing out money left and right. That cuts into the base of the Freedom fighters in Iraq.
