Is ‘learning as we go’–a strategy for Iraq and Afghanistan?

Technically…I should be *appalled* by Bush’s latest statements on how we are conducting ourselves in both countries…but…?

This is BUSH we are talking about–right?

The man who mislead us into a war that needn’t have been fought?

Hint: Every war or military operation is a ‘learn as you go’ event.

The winner is usually the side that learns the fastest.

BTW, it is not like the Democrats have been right - or even honest - about Iraq.

And of course since your against Mr Bush and because your a puppet of the media you choose to interpret his words into a way that will fill your agenda..

Mr Bush is 100 correct..and ANY war or conflict is a learn as you go ordeal..always has been and always will..

It’s a very costly policy. I recall yrs ago a teacher told me Experience is the Best Teacher, but the Tuition is Costly. It’s hard to comprehend all the young lives lost, billions in profits for the providers who didn’t have to bid.

Have you ever lead the most powerful nation on earth before? How about re-built a country that has spent years under a man who would murder rather than talk to you? No? Our President doesn’t have as much power as people think he does. He used the information that was given to him about weapons of mass destruction and made a educated decision, it was no information that was forced or faked either. One man cannot make every military intelligence agency all lie about the same thing, he doesn’t have that much power. Besides, Congress is the one who ultimately allows troops to stay in Iraq, but they haven’t removed them yet? Why don’t we blame the democrats next, it will make for a fun game of find someone to blame because we all agreed with the war to start with but now changed are minds. So, if you think you know how to run a country and re-build one, run for president. We’ll see how well you do under the eye of over 300,000 people.

All wars become learn as you go affairs. However, the US didn’t need to enter Iraq. And after we did, the pentagon was slow (even resistant) to catch on.
    Shame on them.
