What’s amusing here is, if Obama were to get his way, no American would be allowed to own firearms. He wants to demolish the 2nd Amendment:
* In 1996 Obama favored a “ban [on] the manufacture, sale, and possession of handguns.”
* In 1998 Obama stated a desire to “ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons.” (Semi-automatic firearms are the most common firearms sold in America today)
Obama’s desire to ban “all forms” of semi-autos would include a ban on most common rimfire target pistols, including those used in Olympic competition.

Please keep in mind that he was in the Illinois State Legislature, so he was favoring bills that would do stuff for parts or all of Illinois, but not the entire country.

I could say a lot of things about that statement, but I know if I was even being honest in my answer I would be called a ****** and be reported. So all I’ll say is that it was not a statement that a man who is running for President of the United States should be making. He could have used a more appropriate answer that would have not made him look, lets say, lower class?

I think you are right, he wouldnt know what to do with a loaded weapon. I guess he wants to disarm america, that way only the street thugs would have firearms. Then he wants to get rid of our nuclear weapons-that way we can be sitting ducks for the terrorists that endorse him. His knife/ gun statement, is not exactly what you would call dignified. Seems the bar to the presidency has be lowered substantially.

We’ve all heard the old jokes about the dumb cowboy who brings a knife to a gunfight. But the reason it’s so funny is that Obama was reduced to a sniveling wreck in a debate with Hillary I have experience being under fire Clinton. When Obama comes up against the likes of John McCain — the kind of guy that his liberal predecessors used to spit on and call ‘babykiller’ — he won’t know what hit him. The next morning, when the TV talking heads are sharing a collective chuckle over Obama’s feeble attempt to portray himself as an experienced statesman in the presence of a war hero and tough guy like McCain, Obama will be still be broke, sticky and confused in his motel room.
