Did Joe the plumber just walk into a minefield? ?

Did he not realize the press would actually do their jobs and check up on his story? LOL. So it seems this guy is not really telling the whole truth. Do you think he deliberately tried to throw Obama for a loop as part of the McCain campaign strategy or is he like Homer Simpson and just got in over his head?

Joe the dumber plumber thought he would make a name for himself. No one put a Bible or gun to his head to make him go on *conservative* shows and misrepresent Obama’s tax plan.

Which incidentally would save him in taxes, if he paid them. Maybe his relative Charles Keating gave him some tips.

I just hope I’m not making too much of a fool of myself, he added. Too late, Joe.

How is somebody that voted for McCain in the primary undecided? My favorite part is:

Wurzelbacher, 34, said he doesn’t have a good plan put together on how he would buy Newell Plumbing and Heating in nearby Toledo.

So, he actually would benefit from Obama’s plan and pay less taxes, which could enable him to buy the business he’s looking at, yet somehow he thinks Obama’s policies aren’t for him? Poor Joe…all this political business seems to be over his head.

They should call him Joe the unlicensed Plumber.

Oh, yeah, I so totally agree. I can just see that meeting, all those years ago, between all the bigwigs of the Republican party:
Yeah, we’ll get this cousin of Charles Keating’s son-in-law to buy a house in this neighborhood, and then, years from now, when Obama comes through there on the campaign trail, we’ll have him challenge Obama on his tax plan.
Because, after all, he only talked to Obama when Obama came to HIS neighborhood. He didn’t go looking for an audience with Obama.
Anybody who believes he was a plant has some serious problems with reality.

Let’s see… an unapologetic bomb planter and a hate-filled preacher vs. an unlicensed plumber. Yeah.. they kind of balance out, I guess.

    Hmmmm. Interesting.

claudia - You don’t have a problem believing any and everything about Obama though, right?
