A public relations specialist is an entry-level job for someone with a bachelor’s degree in communications or public relations.
It typically involves promoting the organization both internally and externally in a consistent manner (staying on message). That might be done by writing press releases and advertising copy or by staffing a booth at an expo.
Pay will vary depending on the organization’s industry, your background, and your location in the country. I would check for an approximate pay range.
