Cowardice or real strategy ?

The problem may be that Obama is just not a good debater(Maybe the worst debater).
What do you think about, will Obama’s political strategy work ?
@Joyce. : How debate do you need ? It’s not an answer…Are you a bad debater too ?
@Ana K : I don’t agree, Obama has never been a great debater.
@Pro Deus Et Patria : Can I sing Kum-Ba-Yah with you ?
And you have a really short memory, during the democratic primaries, Obama was clearly not a great debater…Thanks to media’s help.
@@Pro Deus Et Patria :Example of a great debater :

Obama can’t face debate with his own supporters.

    I’m not playing sides here, but as far as I can tell most Republicans have been bashing on Obama saying he’s only gotten to where he’s at by being a compelling speaker. Great speakers usually make great debaters. I honestly don’t think this man is the least bit concerned about debating McCain, although it’s entertaining to see people openly contradicting everything they’ve been saying for the last 5 months.

    Don`t know what they are ,,,, he hasn`t shared them with anyone ,,, all he says is change , but we don`t know what he means

    I think it will backfire. It’s just more Obama flip flopping. It reeks of fear and cowardice, and he is already not winning points in that arena. This whole agreeing to town hall style debates at one point and then backing out of them schtick is actually hurting Obama’s campaign. And McCain is and is going to continue to exploit that.

    The 22 debates with Hillary, Obama used the View from my front porch is fine, tactic.
    simply stated,If you neighbor puts up a fence and your other neighbor puts up a fence,
    According to Property Law their fences have to be 3 inches inside their own property lines.
    By doing nothing but agreeing Without any plan of his own, to present to the public Obama’s yaaard looks bigger.
    He is such a twit I can’t see how anyone without a ***** PIPE in their mouth could ever voice a vote for Obama.

    Yes, I think it’s a good strategy. It always is, this is a classic tactic by negotiators and others of the like. Besides, how many times did we already see him debate against Hillary? Talk about more than adequate evidence that he can debate!

    I think it’s funny how many of Obama’s detractors claim the only reason he is popular is because he is a good speaker, yet when it comes to the issue of debates, they also claim he *****. LMAO, contradictions are lame aren’t they?

    As for Obama not being a good debater, I have a super hard time believing that considering he was a law professor for 12 years and has also been on his home state and senate floors. In fact, now that I think of it, he could probably debate any one of us here into the ground.

  8. Holly Says:

    He started the primary as a weak debater but all those debates improved his skills. I doubt cowardice is relevant to either McCain or Obama choices — the campaigns are all about strategy and tactics.

    It is generally the case that whoever is behind wants more debates. Having a reputation as a great speaker can also create hazards by ramping up expectations. McCain doesn’t have that problem — if he can manage to stay on message and be coherent people will be impressed.

    Remember the Clinton/Obama debates ? Anybody recall how staged and orchestrated they appeared…..almost like someone had choreographed the whole thing ? Then remember how Obama handled that protestor a day ago. After telling the kid to ask his question, when he heard it, he almost fainted and most definitely LOST any composure he had. He was expecting a soft and easy question, just like ALL of his little speeches before. Instead the kid had a stright forward question, about Obamas support for the black community and WHAM…..Obama lost it. He NEVER did answer it either. McCain is a KNOWN maverick and Obama fears having him throw out something that is not PLANNED for……………the guy can talk great to controlled and screened crowds…..but falls like a limp rag from anything spontaneous.
